A brief introduction
on the harp as a musical instrument

No one knows exactly when the first harps were made, it is estimated to be around 3000 BC. in ancient Egypt The first drawings of the instrument were found in the 26th century BC. and these instruments were over 6 feet tall.

In the 7th and 8th centuries BC. C. The Syrians knew two different harps, they already had 2 different orchestras.
The Greeks changed the ancient construction of the harp in the 4th century BC. C. These harps are considered models for harps in Europe today.
