Workshop and construction of the harp:
We create your own personalized Andean harp

In 1996 Milton started with the construction of his first harps, dedicating a lot of love to every detail of his work and thus manages to give a personal touch to each instrument he builds in his workshop.

In Milton's harp workshop there is no serial work, each instrument is simply unique! By using different woods you get a different sound quality, for this reason each instrument sounds a little different.

All harps in Milton's workshop are created in the European style.

We only use renewable woods such as:
• Pine (Fir-, Pine)
• Fir and cedar wood
• Maple
• Mahogany

Wood is moderately processed, all glues and enamels are non-toxic.

Milton will be happy to make you an offer without compromise.

Milton´s Harp Workshop:
From wood to finished harp

Since 1991 Milton has been in Germany. The first years she used them, to perfect her artistic and creative skills.
Thanks to Christoph Löcherbach in 1995 Milton received many instructions and impulses, to improve and introduce himself to the latest secrets for the construction of an Andean harp.

The construction of a harp requires average time is calculated between 2 to 3 months. The process is long from a simple wood to a finished harp and with a unique sound character, good mathematical knowledge is required between many knowledge.

Above all, the creation of a harp depends on an excellent musical ear that, thanks to his grandfather Milton, received this ability from childhood.

Milton´s Harp Workshop:
The harp with the chromatic musical scale

The heart of a Milton Andean harp is the "variable or adjustable strings". Have you ever tried playing a major F sharp chord on a common harp (diatonic scale)?
An impossible thing, right !!

Not so with the harps created by Milton !!!
By using / implementing small "mechanical adjustments" each sound can be increased by one half tone. Thanks to that, melodies that were outside the musical scale of a common harp or diatonic harp can be interpreted.

Simply a masterpiece!
